Waikato Draught  Senior Men’s Pool A & B Preview

Changes to the Senior Men’s competition will now see the first round of competition dropping the title of Premiership and Championship divisions, in favour of Pools structure. At the end of the Qualifying Round (After week 5), the top 8 teams will form the Premiership, to compete for the Breweries Shield and the bottom 2 teams will move across to join the top 6 from Pool C & D to make up the Championship.

LoneStar Hamilton Senior Men’s Pool C & D Preview

As stated above at the end of the Qualifying Round, the top 6 teams of Pool C & D will join the bottom 2 from Pool A & B to form the Championship to compete for the LoneStar Hamilton Cup. The remaining teams from Pool C & D will form Division 1 and will compete for the Mooloo Shield in a home and away format followed by semi finals and finals.

Gallagher Women’s Premiership Week 1 (Kickoff 1.00pm)

Reigning Champions Melville will be aiming for a four-peat in 2021 in an expanded Gallagher Women’s Premiership. The division welcomes back Southern United and competition newcomers Hamilton Marist for 2021 and the competition will feature 9 rounds be playoffs between top 4 and bottom 4.

Division 2 Week 1 Preview (Kickoff 2.45pm)

Division 2 has been expanded in 2021, with the competition growing from 7 teams to 11. The division welcomes the return of Kihikihi and Whatawhata and also welcomes newcomers Hinuera and Hamilton Marist to the division. The competition will be played over 11 weeks with playoffs and a finals.

Under 85kgs Week 1 (Kickoff 1pm)

Morrinsville Sports begin their quest for a three-peat and their fourth title in 5 seasons and what better way to kick the season off with a repeat of last season's final against Fraser Tech. The competition will have two rounds the first round is 8 weeks long before splitting the division into top 4 and bottom 4, with the top to play for the Don Shergold Trophy.

Colts Week 1 (Kickoff 1pm)

Leamington will kick off the 2021 season as defending champs as they are the current Elliott Shield holder. This division welcomes back Hamilton Old Boys and United Matamata Sports (formerly combined with Huinuera) and division newbies Hautapu. This competition will be contested between 8 teams after 8 rounds the competition will be split into top 4 and bottom 4, with the top 4 to compete for the Elliott Shield.
